Workshops

Our current workshop programme for 2009/2010 is shown below. New workshops are added regularly so please check back often.

All overseas workshops include accommodation and transport to/from the airport. There is an option to join us for an introductory dinner, free of charge, the evening before the first full workshop day.

Workshops over multiple days in the UK include accommodation and an introductory meal the night before the full workshop day.

1 day workshops include lunch and full access to our studio and darkroom facilities.

Unless otherwise stated you must provide your own photographic equipment (e.g. cameras, lenses, memory cards etc). You may also wish to consider bringing your own laptop although editing facilities are available on all workshops.

Please be aware that all courses involve walking and moderate exercise so a good level of fitness is required. Please make sure you are fully insured for both health and equipment.

NEWCASTLE - 1 day Black & White Darkroom Workshop - 27th March 2010 - ONLY 3 PLACES LEFT!

A photographic journey through the stunning architecture, iconic landmarks and hidden backstreets of Newcastle. This workshop will involve 'seeing' in black and white, composition and creative thinking. After several hours of shooting, we will head to our fantastic darkroom to learn black and white developing and printing techniques. More info...

NORTHUMBERLAND CASTLES & COAST - 3 Day Workshop- 21st to 23rd February 2010

Take an amazing journey through Northumberland's majestic coast. We'll paint with light in a dawn shoot at Alnmouth and turn the sea to glass with long exposures in front of the stunning castle at Bamburgh. We'll watch the famous Craster fisheries at work - and document it with photos - and watch the sun go down over Holy Island. An unforgettable 3 days! More info...

The opportunity of a lifetime. Spend three days photographing one of the most beautiful cities in the world - Venice.
